Mark joined the team in 2020 and has 29 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Mark served as Investment Director, Emerging Markets at M&G Investments (U.S.). Previously, he served as Managing Director, Head of Product Development and Distribution at New Sparta Asset Management in London. Prior to New Sparta Asset Management, Mark worked for Ashmore Investment Management, initially as Head of Product & Client Management – Americas, and then as Global Head of Consultant Relations and Corporate Treasury Solutions. He also served as Director of Consultant Relations at Citigroup Global Markets. Mark attained an MPA in International Economics from Columbia University, an MBA in Global Finance from Fordham University, and a BA in International Relations from Syracuse University.
Shawn joined the team in 2017 and has 6 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Shawn served as a Global Investment Specialist Analyst at J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Singapore, where he was responsible for advising Ultra High Net Worth clients on investment solutions across multiple asset classes. He attained an MS in Finance and a MEng in Chemical Technology and Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
Wei Kai joined the team in 2010 and has 16 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Wei Kai served as the Associate Director of Institutional Business Pan Asia at UBS Global Asset Management in Singapore where he was responsible for developing and managing client relationships for Asia ex Japan. Additionally, he served as a Graduate Trainee at UBS Global Asset Management. Prior to UBS, Wei Kai served as an Associate in the Monetary Management Division at the Monetary Authority of Singapore where he was responsible for currency intervention, open market operations, liquidity management, and sovereign debt issuance. He attained a BA in Economics and French from Amherst College in Massachusetts while on a scholarship from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Paul joined the team in 1999 and has 28 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Paul served as a Managing Director at Citigroup Asset Management in London where he was responsible for institutional business in Europe. Prior to Citigroup, Paul worked in a number of roles at Barclays, including as a Director for Business Development in Europe at Barclays Global Investors in London and San Francisco, working in the Country Manager’s Office at Barclays de Zoete Wedd in Milan where he was responsible for strategic projects and planning, and as a Corporate Banking Executive at Barclays Bank in Edinburgh where he was responsible for credit analysis and risk management. He attained a BA Economics and Politics from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
Chetana joined the team in 2000 and has 25 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Chetana served as a Director of Institutional Business Development throughout Continental Europe at Citigroup Asset Management in London. Previously, she served as a Securities Selection Analyst for the Discretionary Investments Group at Citibank Private Bank in London. Additionally, Chetana served as a Technical Analyst for Global Markets and FX Advisory at Citibank Switzerland Ltd. Chetana began her career as a Product and Relationship Associate in Private Banking at Deutsche Bank in Geneva, New York, and Singapore. She attained her B. Com encompassing Business Administration, Accounting, and Statistics from BMCC at Pune University in India, and her Masters in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
Claudia joined the team in 2013 and has 20 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Claudia served as Global Head of Consultant Relations at TT International. Before her time at TT International, Claudia served as an Executive Director and Head of European Consultant Relations at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Prior to Morgan Stanley, she served as an Analyst on the Southern Europe Sales Team at Citigroup Asset Management. She attained a BS in Economics with a focus on Finance from the Università degli Studi di Perugia.
Diane joined the team in 2010 and has 13 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Diane served as a Consultant Relations Manager at Neuberger Berman in London where she was responsible for the consultant relations business across Europe. Prior to Neuberger, she served as a part of the Multi-Manager Team at Skandia Investment Research on the team responsible for performance analytics and fund implementation work. Diane is a member of the CFA Institute and the UK Society of Investment Professionals. She attained an Honors BSc in Mathematics from the University of Bath and an M. Phil in Finance from Cambridge University.
Ben joined the team in 2010 and has 11 years of industry experience. Prior to his current role, Ben served as a member of the client service team in Stone Harbor’s Singapore and London offices. Previously, Ben served as a member of the client reporting team in New York. He is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Chicago. He attained a BA in International Affairs from Lafayette College.
John joined the team in 1997 and has 27 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, John served as a Director and Senior Product Specialist for the High Yield and Emerging Markets Debt teams at Citigroup Asset Management. Previously, John split his time working as an Institutional Sales and Marketing associate in the New York and London offices of Salomon Brothers Asset Management. He began his career at the Bank of New York where he worked in the Corporate Trusts’ Asset Backed Securities Division. John has an Honors BA in Business Studies from both the University of Glamorgan in Wales and the Portobello College in Dublin, Ireland.
Antonio joined the team in 2001 and has 27 years of industry experience. Prior to joining Stone Harbor, Antonio served as a Quantitative Analyst for the Fixed Income Team at Citigroup Asset Management. Previously, he served as a Manager of the Trade Support Group at Salomon Brothers Asset Management Inc. Antonio began his career as a Manager in the Accounting Department at Bank of New York. He attained a BA in Accounting from Loyola College in Maryland.
